  • Session and delivery information. If you book a session, we may also collect the names of the people being photographed, preferences for the session, a session location, and the photos themselves.

  • Automatically collected information. Like most websites, this one records basic technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and the site you came from. This is collected through our website provider, Squarespace, and through analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (see Cookies, analytics, and advertising).

How we use information

We use your information to reply to your inquiry, schedule and photograph sessions, deliver your photos, send booking details, keep the website secure and working, understand how visitors use the site, measure and improve our advertising, and meet legal and tax requirements. We do not sell your personal information for money. We share certain information with analytics and advertising platforms as described below. If we send you updates or promotions, it is only because you asked to receive them, and every message includes a way to unsubscribe.

Who we share information with

We share information with service providers and advertising platforms to operate our business, provide our services, understand website activity, measure advertising, and reach potential clients. The information shared depends on the service or tool being used.

  • Squarespace, which hosts the website, processes contact form submissions, and provides site analytics.

  • Google, which provides Google Analytics (how visitors use the site) and reCAPTCHA (spam protection on the contact form, which may collect technical data about your device and how you interact with the form).

  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp), through the Meta Pixel and our advertising on its platforms, and through WhatsApp when we communicate by message.

  • Email and file-storage providers we use to correspond with you and deliver your photos.

  • Email marketing tools, if you subscribe to updates.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it or to protect our rights. If the business is sold or transferred, your information may pass to the new owner.

Cookies, analytics, and advertising

This site uses cookies and similar technologies, mainly from Squarespace, to keep the site working and remember preferences. We also use the following tools:

  • Google Analytics (GA4) uses cookies to report how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, time on site, and general location and device type. We use this to improve the site.

  • Meta advertising tools. We use Meta’s advertising tools, including cookies and similar technologies, to measure and improve our advertising and show relevant ads. WhatsApp and messaging

We may communicate with you through WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta. We message you on WhatsApp only after you have contacted us or given us your number for that purpose. Your phone number and messages are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy, so please do not send payment details or other sensitive information by message.

Photos and portfolio use

This website is intended for adults. When a session is for a minor, we work with a parent or legal guardian, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Photos from a session are delivered to the client and may appear in our portfolio, on this website, or on social media only as allowed by your session agreement or photo release. This policy does not replace that agreement. You may ask us to remove a photo of you or your family from the website or our social accounts, and we will honor reasonable requests.

How long we keep information and how we protect it

We keep inquiry details and client records only as long as needed to provide our services and meet tax and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize them after 12 months. Client photos are kept for the time specified in the photography agreement/contract so we can re-deliver or reprint them at the clients request.

We use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and an encrypted (HTTPS) connection on this website. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from any email using the link in the message or by asking us directly. To make a request, use the contact form on our website. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may keep certain information when the law requires it.
